Are you a Universal Fighting Fan, or just a Boxing Fan?

I can't even watch mma anymore. I use to be a fan who enjoyed watching both sports, now I hate mma. After watching Brock Lesnar take over the Heavy-weight title by lying on people on the ground due to his size, I have lost all respect for MMA. People like Fedor, GSP, Michida, and Silva are the only people I even follow in MMA now. At least these guys throw punches. Any Joe can become a UFC Champ, but you have to be a special type of person to hold a boxing title. My own opinion. So what type of fan are you?

I still like MMA, and as far as Brock Lesnar..he didn't necessarily just lay on Frank Mir...did you see Mir's face after he got up from getting punched 10 times in a row??? God damn lol.

I like both. I'm a fan of combat sports. Dudes in here at like chicks when even mentioning Boxing and MMA as if they have any say in the matter or make a living from either. Such a waste of time.

I'm a hardcore boxing fan and a casual MMA fan, if there are big fights in both sports that overlap each other, I'd definitely watch the boxing event but if there isn't any boxing on when there's a good MMA event on, I'll watch it.

The all time great WWF juicer brock lesnar, wouldn't even throw a punch at Mir. First he took him down, layed on him, punched him out. Boring. But I could also be bias. I hate watching people wrestle and hump each other. Some people do enjoy watching two men roll around on the ground, Personal preference I guess.

I used to watch alot of MMA and K1 kickboxing but found most boxing boring. Then I started boxing and understood it more and now I find MMA and kickboxing boring. I still watch some but only the big fights between top fighters. Smaller promotions and even most of the mid level guys in the UFC I just find sloppy and boring now.

In their 1st fight, Brock made Mir almost somersault from a straight right lol. Mir's stand up game is no where near his ground game and Brock beat him at his own game.

Now when people say all the MMA guys do is hump each other, that's usually a red flag to insecurities with one's sexuality. Not saying you in particular, but I highly doubt anyone on this board would tell GSP to his face, "You're Gay". LOL **** is jokes really.

I just straight up hate Ground fighting. Most UFC fights end up on the ground, and a lot of time it ends up being a stale mate in a sense, where two fighters are evenly matched and it ends up being one fighter holding, or one being defensive while the other tries to ground and pound. It's boring, that's all.

As for the Brock Lesnar fight, obviously Brock is going to beat Mir at his ground game, for one thing, Brock is huge, and being the bigger opponent on the ground does matter. Mir isn’t skilled enough to take out an opponent on the ground who is larger as well as someone like Fedor. I know this from personal experience, when I was younger, I tried Brazilian jui jit su out, I weighed about 170. Trying to grapple the bigger guys who weighed 200+ ******, and made a huge difference in the outcome of who is going to tap who. Especially when all they had to do was lay on you.
