Anywheres good for a pissup if you want it to be, the great thing about newcastle is you can trash it up as much as you want but it'll still be a **** hole.

If khan fights as well as he has in last couple fights then hes got this one in the bag.

That just shows how corrupt the WBA's rankings are. He's ranked #58 by boxrec, which is a far more respected rankings body. No independent rankings body other than boxrec ranks him at all.

I think it will cost me maybe about 150-200 quid all in. Not bad for a boxing fight huh Really hope nothing comes up and I can book it with work.

I don't know about how he got to be madatory, but if he keep fighting their sanctioned fights to get to that spot, then so be it. You can't fight for eliminators for every boxing organisation.

He hasn't fought any eliminators for anyone, and he hasn't beaten anyone even remotely close to world level. His last win was over someone with a 20-11-1 record!!! The one before that was against someone with a 17-5-0 record. He became a mandatory because the WBA rankings are corrupt. That's all there is to it. Just like Gary Lockett was a mandatory because the WBO rankings are corrupt. The alphabet rankings have no relationship whatsoever with the quality of the fighters. The only rankings that have any relationship with the quality of the fighters are independent ones like The Ring, boxrec, etc. And Salita is a particularly good example of how corrupt the alphabet's rankings are, just as much as Gary Lockett was.
