Comments Thread For: Katie Taylor Motivated To Topple Chantelle Cameron: "A Win Would Increase My Legacy"

Katie Taylor has never been an underdog. Maybe not even as an amateur. Before she began pocketing large wads of cash for her abilities, she was practically unbeatable in the unpaid ranks. By the time she turned pro, Taylor racked up 176 wins and an Olympic gold medal. The pros are supposed to be tougher but she sliced and diced her competition with little to no issues.

"but she sliced and diced her competition with little to no issues" i just don't see it. Faced tougher opposition only a handful of times and they all had her unravelling. Great what she's done for womens boxing but I think the female fighters have caught her up and are overtaking rapidly.

Chantelle will have to be sharp because Katie will be going hard for the win.

Cameron just has too much for Taylor, no matter the effort that she summons. Taylor really couldn't crack an egg at her own weight so she's just plainly over her head against someone naturally bigger who is at least her equal in skill.

Yeah, I think Katie is an honorable champion, who's just a little bit past her prime.

                  I think she's 37 now?

That's old for dudes, but for women that's ancient.

I would've loved to see her return the favor to Cameron after Cameron allowed her to move up & fight for her belts, but this is boxing and the "A-side" usually wins that battle
