Top Rank and ESPN have a pretty good business model.

Their fighters are contracted to fight twice a year, the network promotes it during other sports events, and PPV is for the big fights.

Maybe, PBC take a page from that playbook? Can't be worse than this..

What a perfect time for the Saudi's and their super sports fund to take over boxing. While Paramount is overcharging for subscriptions and content that takes a long time to develop, the Saudi's can take another shot at American culture by owning this space, as well. Pretty soon, the Indianapolis 500 will be run in Riyadh.

Boxing isn't going to recapture the golden ages of the 1900s but to survive it has to be putting out a better product more consistently.

Even tho I'm upset about Showtime leaving boxing I still stand by what I have been saying for the last ten years. Boxing will thrive if they follow the Ufc format. Bob and Al have to team up under one exclusive network. They have to drop the sanctioning bodies and make their own belts. Boxing cannot be a transatlantic sport. No other sport has multiple leadership all around the globe. It has to be centralized. You cant have decisions coming out of Vegas, LA, NYC, New Jersey, Mexico, Panama, Puerto rico and The U.K. PBC is probably going to end up on Prime but that will still be another "side of the street" for boxing because if PBC gets a deal with Prime they definitely wont ever work with any of the other promoters. Our best hope is for them to join with TR on Espn. Those are the two most relevant promoters in America.

Absolutely not!!!! That is the last thing we want!! But you may be on to something. PBC may be in talks with the Saudis to finance their own platform. YIKES!!!

Man, any of them going to prime is great. It’s a pain paying for all these different services, boxing actually joining a service I already pay for? That’s a win.

Again you idiots have it backwards. Showtime boxing went out of business, not PBC. They are in a great position to go to the next step

I agree that promoters need to team up but I completely disagree about boxing cannot be a transatlantic sport. Every sport wants global appeal because a global market is vital in the modern era. I also agree sanctioning bodies need to go although I'm not sure about giving the power to promoters.
