Do Boxers actually read the readers' comments on Boxingscene?

They will probably read the most famous boxing forum on the planet. Unfortunately i dont know which that is.

Yes. But I'm sure its more Twitter/X these days.

But back in the day, Jin Mosley used to come in here and write long ass blog posts as topics with all her problems and grievances with various people in the industry. She was here so often she knew which posters were which and guys would be trying to rizz her up in the comments.

maybe, some people just like to shut out negative stuff, especially about them, this place may get to them after a while

I think so considering how emotional and defensive some posters on here get about certain fighters. I don't think it's the boxers themselves more like people on their team

Good way to take in criticism in private so a fighter can handle it publicly after having known about it in advance.

I DM with a few current and past undisputed champs regularly. Some of them depend on me emotionally and we share cooking recipes.

Shawn Porter came on here a few times about ten years ago. I would imagine some fighters look at this and other boxing sites from time to time. Some care, some don’t.
