And hes unlikely to get a fight vs any one of those 3 til hes enhanced his profile with higher level guys than hes fought like those measuring stick guys or better yet other top prospects like Mbilli or bottom top ten guys.
Definately he needs to enhance his profile. And if he has to take on past their prime names, so be it. Up-and-coming prospects are going to be trickier, and like you mentioned, casuals don't know much about them. Be safe.

I think a guy like Mbilli is more than an up & coming prospect tho. He's similar to David M in being a contender/high level prospect. Sh^t looking at TBRB rn Mbilli is #2 & David M is #4 at 168. Mbilli gots his own fans hyping him like guys are hyping David M. I think when two guys like that fight on the way up the winner kind of lifts some of those hardcore fans off of the loser. The casuals wouldn't be in play unless the fight was on a big fight PPV as the comain or on the main card, but it is the type of fight that pushes the winner forward more than these fights both guys have been having do.

You say it, have to be on a big event, and definitely a co-main event so the casual can watch. Whoever wins, the hype would reach new highs.

only reason they bring up Morrell this early is because they know there's a good chance Canelo/Benavidez is next or at the latest, next September. So they already have their Morrell boogeyman lined up to claim that Canelo is ducking. Meanwhile being content that 25 going on 26 year old Morrell is only fighting once a year versus bums.
Yes, these haters have something in their psyche that produces their behavior and way they hate on another man and their success. It’s sickening, hope they get well

What do you think plant as a Morrell Jr opponent? The Cuban doesn't have a fight line up, neither plant.
PS. You already gave me your opinion about plant. But it would be better than ryder, who already got the chance to fight him and left Minnesota in the first flight out to the UK. He was supposed to be his 6th fight.

So not agreing with you and bringing up the truth, is hateful. Free thinking and having an opinion, with true behind it, is hateful. Meanwhile you talk and write $h1t about a kid that has not mention canelo, that went through hell in order to turn professional, that has to acclimated to a new culture, without family support, you're calling us hater. Go figure.

On the latest Showtime Boxing podcast, Benavidez said after himself, Morrell is the biggest threat to the titles at 168.

It'd be a good fight, but I think theres a almost 0% chance of it being next. David M imo ain't getting the top 3 biggest players at 168, Canelo, David B or Caleb, til he does bigger stuff vs higher level guys than hes beaten so far.

Ryder would def be more makeable fight next I'd imagine. And he might be the best realistic fight next since hes fresh off the Canelo L so if he stopped him when Canelo couldn't it'd be a great look for him. Personally I'd rather see Mbilli but thats admittedly more of a hardcore fan fight.

Yes, ryder fight has a better chance to be made, the problem I see is they already declined the fight, three fights ago, I hope they can make the fight happen but the chance is very slim.
