David Benavidez and Demetrius Andrade understandably would've preferred to challenge Canelo Alvarez next. Fighting Alvarez affords his opponents not only career-high paydays, but also the opportunity to become boxing's fully unified super middleweight champion. Andrade has gone up in weight looking for paydays instead of making a case for himself. His tactic has not worked no matter who was promoting him. He wasted his career fighting second tier fighters and has no notable names.

The winner of this fight has the strongest case to fight Canelo if there are no controversies. It would be one of the biggest fights in boxing.

Stop it... All Andrade has done is wait. Now he's just simply out of options and has no choice but to step up. As far as Morrel, he has like 10 fights and is waiting around himself, I mean who in the hell has he exactly fought?

Andrade didn't wait for anybody period. The guy tried to fight everybody at 154, 160 and now 168. Because he was ducked he had to fight mandatory after mandatory. finally he had enough and changed promoters and weight classes. So try to enjoy the two most ducked boxers fighting each other

It doesn't matter what they or any else does because Canelo holds all the belts and the division hostage while he makes circus fights with others out of the weight class.

Andrade ducked Charlo, Lara, Sergiy, Parker, Janibek and I'm sure I missed 2-3 other guys. He also had to hold on for deal LIFE against Liam Williams....

Andrade went to Canelo's press conf. and Canelo told him to get the F out.
