Once he felt Tim's power he realized he had to pick his punches and not go toe to toe or he would quite possibly have been stopped. That happens to fighters all the time when they face someone who puts on solid pressure and lands hard, accurate punches. Yeah Tszyu was pretty much landing big punches at will towards the end and not getting hit much himself. He got into a great rhythm, Mendoza brave/****** to stay in his feet.Comment

I'm not sure what you are going on about Mendoza not going toe to toe, he literally ate punches all night right in front of Tszyu while throwing arm punches.
