Over the first three rounds of the fight, KSI landed ten more power punches than Tommy Fury (23-13). At the end of the fight, KSI still held a 35-27 advantage in power punches landed. Fury out-landed KSI in the third, fourth and sixth round, but was deducted a point for hitting the back of KSI's head in the second round. Despite the deduction, the judges awarded Fury the decision.

Fight of the year.

Tommy keeps cutting his way to a title fight destroying the elite contenders of the division with his destructive punching power combined with his explosive speed and boxing iq. Boxing mastery on display.

Without the unlucky unintentional elbow DQ KSI would be top 5 in cruiser so this win is actually massively underrated.

The stats still show a gaping difference in Fury’s favour in total punches landed. KSI just couldn’t
get away from Tommy’s left hands and the volume was in the end too much. Brave show from KSI with which he will get more big paydays as an explosive crowd-pleaser with his fan friendly style.

Tommy is now close to the top and soon the alphabet champions can no longer pretend Fury doesn’t exist.

KSI made me surprised with his performance. But he clinched too much and some of his punches should be classified as rabbit punches.
