These idiots always pointing the finger at Hearn to “get it done”.
yeah wilder loves boxing thats why he hasnt fought in a year...ok buddy. joshua is simply moving on with his career while wilder sits on the sideline and ducks people like ruiz. why would wilder fight joshua if hes not even willing to figth ruiz? look at his resume. its crap. look at how he ducked joshua and 100 million dollars. whats the one constant factor in all this? wilder wilder wilder. joshua has fought much better competition than wilder who are you fooling? hes not above criticism and isnt a great fighter but wilder is just a joke.
Have any of us seen anything from
that sour faced old liar Finkel to indicate he is also working to get it done? Answer is no, because he and Wilder don’t want it.
I hate liars and Wilder is one.

Now without that Saudi money, I believe it'll be more easy fights for AJ while they see what Fury does.
Fury v AJ Is still a huge fight, regardless of AJ's decline in popularity. I think they'll wait to see if Fury beats Usyk and then go for that fight.
It's the biggest money fight for AJ and a title shot should Fury beat Usyk.
Now Fury v Usyk has been signed, Eddie doesnt seem to be running around trying secure another location for a Wilder fight. I think he's now thinking it's better to let AJ feast on a few bums and then try to cash out v Fury later next year. Even if Usyk and Fury rematch, AJ could still fight Fury at the end of 2024.
That would be the smart move if nobody is going to pay him huge money to fight Wilder.
also to be fair to Hearn, why is he doing all the work? You never really hear of Wilder's team out trying to get big site fees to make fights happen.Last edited by deathofaclown; 10-15-2023, 08:36 AM.Comment

probably, but that is not the point. The point is, Wilder must beat somebody to be relevant. How about fighting Ruiz?

- - Deyonce and Shirley Winkel busy sitting in a tree...K-I-S-S-I-N-G...
Deyonce can't draw flies in the ring, but I hear'd his statue in Tuscaloosa has an ardent pigeon fan base...

Yeah, but Wilder clearly doesn't care about fighting unless it's crazy Saudi money it seems.
i'm not even sure about how serious Ruiz is about fighting again either because apparently he has asked for a huge money to fight Wilder now. he was approached for a Tyson Fury fight last year by Warren and Top Rank and he wanted 20 million dollars. Now I'm hearing he wants 25 to fight Wilder. I'm sure he would get in the ring for less though.
But the reason it seems like Andy Ruiz is not serious about fighting is because he has no reason to be inactive. At least with Wilder he was kind of told that this Joshua fight would be happening in December for some big Saudi money which then couldn't be delivered, so he had a bit of reason to be waiting around if he thought that was happening, but Ruiz has never had any of this on the table or any talk of these kind of fights, so he should be an active fighter, he has no excuses but he's not fighting and when there's talks of a fight, he throws unrealistic numbers out there.
So I'm sure Ruiz isnt serious either unless it's ridiculous money.
If I was Wilder, I wouldn't hold my breath about the Joshua fight happening, so him and Ruiz should get realistic regarding their earnings and fight each other if they're serious about still fighting.
but this is a problem with the likes of Saudi Arabia throwing ****** money at boxing. I don't blame the fighters for taking it. But some must be looking at Fury and Usyk making upwards of 100 million dollars to fight each other and then it doesn't seem appealing for Wilder and Ruiz to fight each other for 5 million or something in Vegas. It's kind of skewed the perception of what Fighters think they're worth, even though they are not.Last edited by deathofaclown; 10-16-2023, 04:57 PM.Comment
