Being undefeated made Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez feel as though he couldn't be beat. Wins over Sullivan Barrera and Jesse Hart reinforced those thoughts. But after grabbing a world title at 168 pounds and making a handful of defenses, Zurdo saw an opportunity at 175 pounds. Turns out, however, it was nothing more than a mirage.

WBC has created an obstacle by saying they won't sanction Bivol to fight for their title.Last edited by kiaba360; 10-13-2023, 07:41 PM.Comment

When you lost 10 of 12 consensus rounds on the judges cards you need to do a lot more than win 1 fight vs a non-player in the division, outside of the division, to earn a rematch.
If Zurdo wants to earn a rematch he needs to get 2-3 legit wins, with 1 or 2 over a top ten guy, at minimum or better yet beat Beterbiev for his belt & have an undisputed fight rematch.Comment
