Lol. Definite props to Caballero for making this fight happen. He basically made it worthwhile for Arum to actually put it together because as for Juanma, he is willing to fight anyone that the company puts in front of him. I don't know about risking his life but he is in for a world of hurt once Juanma imposes his close up style and neutralizes Caballero's wide (and yes powerful) punches. To be effective Caballero needs to maintain distance because he can't fight up close. Moreover, he is no longer suited for 122 and that will be a significant factor when it comes to maintaining some space between Juanma and himself.

Part of me wants a nice 10 rounder, but I like Caballero and I don't want him to be roughed up to the point that he will never be the same again. Like Juanma has been saying before all of his recent fights, "the longer they last, the worse off they will end up, its up to them"

But hey, like I have been saying all along: its nice that Caballero will get the biggest paycheck of his career and I hope this gets signed relatively quickly. Can't wait to be there Jan 23rd.

Caballero is a bad, bad mother****er. There is a reason warriors like Vazquez and Marquez pretended he didnt exist for so long.
Dont be so sold on the hype, gentlemen. This could very well be the downfall of the would be great Juanma.

No, actually, I gave it up. I just follow boxing.
Pelenchin is the most dangerous fighter Juanma will have ever faced by far. If Juanma wins in the fashion you guys are predicting, I will tip my hat to you and give the man all the props he deserves.
Based on facts and what I see in the ring, however, there is no clear favorite going into this fight. Not by a long shot.

I hope they won`t kill each other at negotiations, so we will see a good fight.

This came out in the local newspaper today:

Rivera reconoció que los fanáticos del boxeo están pidiendo una pelea entre Juanma y Celestino Caballero. Sin embargo, el factor económico será fundamental a la hora de planificar este encuentro.

“Si a la hora de la verdad, no llena nuestras expectativas económicas no va. El que la gente la quiera no quiere decir que nosotros vamos a hacer esta pelea con él”, sostuvo Rivera.

Rivera recognized that the boxing fans are asking a fight between Juanma and Celestino Caballero. Nevertheless, the economic factor will be fundamental at the moment of planning this encounter.

"If at the moment of the truth, it doesn't fill our economic expectations it won't happen. The fact that the people want it does not mean that we are going to do this fight with him", maintained Rivera.

Once again Juanma, just who THA FOK do u think u are? this will be ur downfall. And then some like to talk about Cotto being uptight and thinking he's all that. Yet not once in his career did I ever hear anything like this coming from the Cotto camp for any fight.
