Cotto sparring with Frankie Figueroa for Pac...

Not sure how I feel about that...Figueroa's kinda garbage, and he doesn't have the physical tools to accurately emulate Pac.

No idea. But this is Figueroa...the guy that robbed Augustus in the Jones/Calzaghe undercard, and got brutally KO'd against Bailey over the summer. How is this guy supposed to emulate Pac, it's ******ed.

maybe they are just using that guy because he gives cotto a good work out. I mean urbano isn't cotto-like.

It's possible. But he says in the article that he's trying to emulate Pac...and he's a southpaw.

And to be honest, I don't see how he can give Cotto a good work out.

Cotto needs to clean house with his team and get professionals.

Well, Urbano is more Cotto-like than this guy is to Pacquiao.

Agreed. I don't know why he didn't get a world class trainer like Steward especially after Steward went to the press and stated his interest in training him.

He's been training himself for the past 5 fights essentially seeing as how he didn't talk to Evangelista before their fallout. At the elite level of the sport you need an elite trainer.

Unless Santiago is some sort of enigmatic wunderkind Cotto is doing himself a disservice.

Good to see that Figueroa is still alive, I thought that Bailey killed him.
