Crawford's Canelo obsession

Crawford's just looking for free publicity or is trying to cash out

I doubt he believes he can beat Canelo, he's smarter than that

I don't think it is for two reasons:

1.Canelo isn't a big fighter.
2.Canelo's style is more finesse and skill than it is brute force.

A small guy that's skilled enough can beat Canelo. We saw Floyd do it.

That version of Floyd wouldn't be able to beat current Canelo

current Canelo's much bigger, stronger, more ring savvy, experienced, and most importantly, not weight drained

and Canelo can use brute force if he wants to, he pretty much beat Callum Smith that way. Huge mfer who dwarfed Canelo and still got pummeled

Smith suffered a gruesome detached bicep from taking arm punches from ginger, BJS got his face literally broken, Charlo went into survival mode out of fear of getting iced, Kovalev got iced...you think a bloated welterweight will handle ginger's power better?

if Canelo cant beat Crawford via boxing, he'll just walk him down and beat him up, even blocked punches will do some damage

this match up is more similar to Ray Leonard coming off the eye injury and going up to 160 for Hagler based on the skill level of the 147 than weight jumps by Charlo (lost to Harrison and probably Castano I) and Khan. The key is the 3rd class but Canelo isn't normal 168 like Andrade, Benavidez, etc with height and wingspan, is actually eye level with Crawford. Still favor the naturally bigger fighter but Crawford might be more in a Leonard type position.
