Comments Thread For: Mendoza: Fundora Has Lot Of Defensive Flaws; I Was Just Guy To Finally Take Advantage Of It

Even when he was undoubtedly down on the scorecards, Brian Mendoza was confident that he would land the type of left hook that abruptly altered the course of his fight against Sebastian Fundora. The hard-hitting Mendoza connected with comparable punches many times while sparring in preparation for their 12-

Yeah fundora is a guy who just has the size and he'd just overwhelm fighters with it at 154 obviously a guy who's 6ft6 isn't normal for 154 but he got hit alot in fights and the warning signs where there in the Sergio Garcia and lubin fights and mendoza finally was the one to take him out. I think him against Tzyu this weekend is being slept on its a pretty good fight

I'm starting to think this fight will be much more competitive than the odds makers have it

Mendoza: Fundora Has Lot Of Defensive Flaws; I Was Just Guy To Finally Take Advantage Of It.

Now, he gets Tim Tzsyu, which should be a good fight, and let the best man win.

Now, somebody needs to explain the difference to Charlo about 'building a legacy' and 'ducking'.

Watching Freakdora get knocked out was awesome. Watching his lack of fundamentals and total reliance on his height and length to overwhelm guys fight after fight was just awful. The best part of the fight was in the corner before the KO round, his dad was saying "Don't worry, he thinks he is doing something but he isn't". A minute later, boom. And Fundora on the ground with a distinct look of "wait, that can't happen!". Lol. KO of the year.

I think Tszyu probably stops Mendoza, but if Mendoza catches him with a big one, could be over quick.
