There are some absolute killers in the amateurs at 147. This isn’t a good idea.

Underprivileged amateur athletes get to lose their place to a millionaire catchweight king. How magnanimous!

Didn't they alter the age from 19/min to 40/max? Just on age alone Manny shouldn't be allowed in beyond the more obvious reasons. That said it'd be interesting to watch so I'm kinda rooting on them allowing it.

Its already a rigged game. A lot of these countries basically got pro/amateurs. No one should be a 28yr old amateur boxer unless they've only been boxing for a few yrs. Amateur boxing needs an eligibility length (~6yrs seems good to me) that doesn't support these guys who've been boxing for a decade at the highest levels fighting teenagers. Til that happens idk that I gaf too much about Manny or others trying to return to am boxing.

All that said I get your stance tho. I just find it interesting cuz I think its a good bet Manny will lose & it'll be interesting to see a guy who gets the juice of a Manny W as he comes into the pro game.

The Pac that lost to Ugas gets outpointed easily. Amateur boxing is more like patty cake for points these days.
