I don't know why you dudes keep insisting that Cotto ducked anyone. Miguel Cotto is a scratched record...."I will fight ANYONE my promotion team puts in front of me" Quote on Quote. Cotto has never picked who he fights, Bob Arum and Team Cotto does all his managing, negociating, except pick the truncks he fights in cause he's got an endorsement with First Bank.

If Mosley had dominated and lose a decision, then I could see some bitching, but as close as this was? Just sour g****s, that's all. Win some, lose some, shut the fuck up.
Good post, some people are unreal. Fortunately, I was there and like you said, it was close it could have gone either way. I feel Cotto did just a little more to get the knotch. SSM is a great fighter, he deserves the rematch. I have seen many bad scoring on behalf of the judges, like the Diaz-Malinaggi fight, that was a robbery. Cotto won the fight, fair and square. For those of you who say "shane was robbed", you do not even believe that yourselves. Stop the hating on Cotto, just admit SSM did not do enough and if he fought in Vegas, you would have had the same outcome, he did not take that extra push to win the fight. He even said it himself, all of a sudden know he claims he won because he wants to fight FMW or Pac.

that's cool i checked out your link. Here's the thing though...

"ALOT" of Mosely's shots landed on Cotto's gloves. That night Mosely was head hunting with that "over-the-top" lead right hand. With cotto's high guard, right on his ear, Shane Mosely's power shots weren't counted, no matter how many more he threw.

exactly. when your "power" shots don't push back your opponent, yet your opponent pushes you back constantly with JABS, you know you're not doing enough

of course, pull's on a mosley loving trip and won't notice how cotto dictated the first 8 rounds and won 2 of the last 4 rounds

knows, maybe he'll say now that mosley won by shutout, since he "landed" more power "bombs" than cotto

You're talking out of your ass if you say that Mosley was hurt or pushed back in that fight by Cotto. I remember that time of where Benji Estevez had to save that ****sucker from going down in the tenth round and he called a time-out to wipe up a wet spot on the canvass to give Cotto time to regroup after he got rocked with one of Mosley's bombs.

Why did Estevez do that? Cause Mosley slipped and almost went down, like he did two rounds later in the same spot.

Yeah, that was probably some of Evangelista's handy work to protect Cotto. Why was the other corner dry?
