Well, they rarely stop the fight when it's the British A side getting battered. It was a good stoppage IMO, but I was surprised to see Warrington on the opposite side of that sort of thing.

Wood has a mean streak of coming back stronger later in fights.
There must be something in that Nottingham water

It used to be that way but I don't think that's really accurate anymore. I've seen a lot of quick stoppages on US soil lately. The most egregious of which was Tony Weeks waving off Barroso against Rolly. That was absolute nonsense, worse than a lot of Howard Foster stoppages. I don't think you should typecast an entire nation when the US has some equally incompetent and corrupt refs.

Except "UK Stoppage" is literally a boxing term lol.

Are you suggesting Warrington was the A side in this fight? I certainly didn't see it that way. It was close to a 50/50 but coming off a solid win and being more active, I thought Wood was the slight favourite. I'm glad he knocked out Warrington. He and his habitual cheating is a scourge on pro boxing.

I figured Warrington was the A side, yes. Just like he was in the fights with Lara and Lopez

and I'm glad he lost too. He's awful to watch, and dirty as all hell. Looking forward to when we stop hearing about him.

Yeah, an internet term made by bias US boxing fans. It's not a universal term accepted by the bulk of the actual boxing world, just bias, double standard holding trolls. Just because somebody makes up a "boxing term" as you claim, doesn't make it wholly accurate. I base my conclusions on what happens in reality not a term made up by some random person on a boxing forum. Referring to a unofficial or illegitimate term created by a boxing fan every time there is a stoppage in a fight in the UK is nonsensical and arbitrary.

Okay, fine. It’s a boxing term everywhere but the UK
