He was also dropped in round one by Journeyman/Club fighter Wade Ryan in a fight which he barely won

It would be surprising to me, but Mendoza surprised me already when he knocked out Sebastion Fundora, who was up on the cards until he got clipped.

Still a fan of TT, but the more quotes I read or the more I hear fighters talk the less I like them it seems.

Comical how everyone makes Tim out to be the second coming of Tommy Hearns.

I like Tim, but he's only fought one dangerous puncher in his whole career: Steve Spark, a guy who came up from 140.

Now he'll be in there with someone who can throw down at 154.

He lost to ramos clearly, but I didn't see him in shape. I don't know if he took the fight on short notice or what, but he wasn't beat up badly, and he got a couple of good shots in. One thing for sure, he is not the same fighter he was.

Wade Ryan is not an easy assignment for someone just coming up with several fights under their belt.

He's experienced, and about as awkward as it gets...

Interesting how people are comparing earlier versions of these two fighters.

It's clear both have come a long way. Should be a good scrap.
