    Vitali Klichko kickboxing [video]

This tall skinny jcvd is now arguably the best heavyweight in the world. Interesting to see how it all began. His former practise of kickboxing could have attributed to the awkward albeit effective style of evasive movement we see today.

I don't know if many of you have seen this video, but it is an interesting part of drago's career.

The fight was 16 years ago. I think today he would have taken Ryushi Yanagisawa out within a round.

    Your thoughts gentlemen.

Really cool, surprised this was never shown on NSB before.

Even in a different sport and many years ago, Vitali appears to fight tall, show agility for a giant, anticipate and move away from his opponents attacks.. Klit is a beast. He probably could have been a legit college basketball player had he committed himself to it.

I did show it. And i am impressed by the toughness of the little japanese man. Yanagisawa was, wtih Funaki one of the founders of the Pancrase organisation which was a form of MMA. They called that hybrid wrestling:

Oh yeah. Commitment is definitely one of his strongest sides. I think him and his brother would have succeeded in many sports beyond boxing, it has long been a soviet practice to instil a 365 day a year dedication to your craft.

Still so weird to see this cat bounce around going all jean claud on the other guy. To all who says vitalik is robotic and lacks fluidity, educate yourselves.

Pretty cool. They say Wladimir is the more athletic of the brothers; so let's see him kickboxing.

vk i believe would win over wk in a boxing or kb match; and as for being athletic, i would propably say wk is more technical more so than athletic in comparison to vk.

but wladimir has been groomed into a boxing professor and that's exactly what he is, and professors rarely make mistakes.
if he put his mind and heart to it, i am sure he could take kickboxing world by storm. it's all about dedication.

Jesus christ, don't they ever stop fights in kick boxing? That guy took a ****ing tremendous (and pointless) beating. He wasn't even throwing anything really the last half of the fight, and it seemed like he went down like 7 times. Why didn't the corner throw in the towel? Must be really short careers if guys have to show that much heart.

That said, it was entertaining and you could definitely see Vitali's potential.
