Comments Thread For: Yudai Shigeoka Dethrones WBC Titlist Panya Pradabsri In Historic Title Win

Yudai Shigeoka handled the rest from there and forever etched the family name in the boxing history books. The pair of Japanese southpaws became the first siblings in boxing history to win major titles in the same weight division on the same show. The unbeaten run over the next six years included his November 2020 victory over then-unbeaten countryman Wanheng 'The Real TBE' Menayothin to lift the WBC strawweight title.

NSB abandoned the guy immediately after Pradabsri dealt with him. He never should have come back out of retirement though.

They were not in the same weight class. I've been arguing this on X as well.
