Fury also believed Wilder would be a stylistically easier fight, Wilder was a power puncher 'But skill for skill, in terms of actual boxing was nowhere near Fury's level'.
Joshua before his loss to Ruiz Junior I, was regarded as a power puncher, game and a extremely capable boxer.
Joshua has throughout his entire career has fought more dangerous fighters consistently than Wilder 'Wilder would not fight Kiltschko'.
I am not saying Wilder is afraid, but there is more evidence of him being historically more apprehensive of Joshua.
Note: I rate Wilder as a fighter extremely highly within this era, but he has been beaten up and ****** out by a fighter in Fury who 'Has never at any point in his career been a monster puncher'.
Joshua has never been ****** out mate, he has no real bad loses on his resume 'Joshua was stopped once on his feet with a smile on his face vs Ruiz Junior I, and then lost two competitive fights back to back vs Usyk'.
Wilder in comparison, although I don't think his rematch with Fury II should of been stopped 'Wilder was battered'. And during the third fight once again, Wilder gave a great effort but 'Eventually he was ****** out mate' etc.
