Bob Arum is a disgrace to Boxing

Bob Arum is a sniveling dirty piece of ****. Everybody knows he takes more than 25% Of Pacmans money. Arum is killing the sport by not making the pacman floyd fight...Floyd has said on many occasions the only reason discussions haven't materialized are because Arum always wants a bigger split...**** Arum...he's only a ****ing promoter, do whats right for the sport and stop stealing Pacmans money...thats all i have to say about Arum..oh yeah and if i ever saw him walking down the street I'd slit his throat..

First off, he's put on some great fights over the years.

Second, he's not afraid to have his own fighters fight eachother (cotto vs margarito for example) unlike some promoters.

Third, he hasn't prevented mayweather vs pacquiao. Wait till cotto vs pac happens then see what happens....

Dont be mad at Arum... If Pacquiao was dumb enogh to sign that contract and is still dumb enough to not leave and promote him self then you should be mad at Pacquiao for being an idiot and not at Arum for being a smart business men and hustler

standard contract, actually a discount. Some promoters take half. Don King takes all.

Who gives a **** about fighters' $? Not our problem. Every promoter is greedy as ****. Long as they make good fights and develop talent, I don't care.

Arum has had as much of an impact on the sport as anyone in history.

Blame the ways of the sport, not Arum. The way the sport is structured today, someone's always getting ****ed.

Arum consistently develops great talent and constantly dips into his own pockets to put on cards. While you may not buy the Latin Fury's and the other Top Rank PPV's, think about how much worse off the sport would be without those fighters being accessible to the public.

I like Arum. I don't know why so much hate on Arum. I feel he is the last real promoter in the game. He does not need HBO or Showtime dates to set up fights for his fighters. He goes into his own pocket to do an independent PPV without HBO. He keeps his figthers active always in the public eye. I don't care what nobody says he does a hell of a job for his fighters. He did a great job with Oscar. He matched him great early on his career. And, made him the cash cow that Oscar became. Oscar, Floyd, Pacquiao, Cotto, and many others should thank Arum and Bruce Trampler for having a successful career.
