Neither of them are in the picture at the moment.

Both guys are skilled fighters who are more risk than reward.

A win for either guy would be huge imo and would help get them the bigger fights at 135.

Yup, I agree to some degree. The guy has tremendous power on both fists. An exciting one to watch. Though he needs to straighten up his act outside the ring.

That's the last man Valero's management team would want him to get in the ring with. He would probably make him look silly but it would be a good fight though

If he was more professional, he could make weight. But instead he likes to binge on eating and not be professional. His fat ass probably would come overweight against Valero.

Valero is the next Pacquiao. he is as physically & athletically gifted as pacquiao speed & power wise. Bob arum offered valero to marquez after the pacquiao fight. with marquez history of dealing with a speedy powerful southpaw like pacquiao he decided to fight at welterweight instead for the money.

Valero is the real deal if ever given a chance. power in both fist.

He's the reason why amir khan left 135 & why juan manuel marquez chose a undefeated welterweight champion 4 years younger than him to fight at welterweight.

Why do you think that he can only fight in texas yet baby bull hasnt shown no interest whatsoever to fight him?
don't beleive the hype valero hasn't fought anybody, his resume consists of nobodies ,you gassed up on his record 10 outta 10 times its padded and if you know anything bout boxing, which you don't 4 calling him da best lw,fighters over cross da water are kepted in the minor leagues 4 a reason.

There is no doubt that Marquez catches Valero clean with a sweeping left hook and right hands all night long.

Every fighter coming up will have bums in their record. that's the way it is. acelino freitas was like what 30-0 with 30 knockouts? You cant dismiss 25-0 with 25 kos.

who would you say is the best lightweight? Is it still marquez after seeing him get dominated for 12 rounds? How will he be physically going down all the way to 135 from the 140s. Beristain said they wont go back to 135 but try to get a title at 140.
