But didn't he sign a 3rd fight with Wilder and then instead tried to sign a fight with Joshua to the point where we though he *was* fighting Joshua?? He was also signed to rematch Wlad but then decided to "retire". Fury can always find a way out.

All he has to do is say Usyk is trash and not worth fighting and give up his belts. His fans love that stuff. Or his promoter will say he is mentally ill. Something like that. He could have already fought Usyk or AJ if he wanted it.

So why hasn't Joshua fought Wilder? Wilder didn't have an issue with Fury.

Wilder himself said that Joshua offered him more money than Fury did but he chose Fury. When you realize that Joshua had all the other belts at the time - this says a lot about Wilder that he chose to fight a guy who had been overweight and retired for 2 years instead of possibly unifying the titles.

And he was due to fight Wilder this year until the backers backed out

One thing you can say about Joshua is he will fight anyone. He hasn't dodged anyone yet. You didn't see him ducking Usyk...

Personally I'm just happy undesputed is finally happening for this generation.
Back in 18 i started reading these online paper's to find out why it wasn't happening then. To my disgust i discovered promoter's had completely taken over & there was no more sport left in boxing. Just smoke & mirror's liar's running it all.

Just be glad it happens.

He could have retired like Fury did to avoid his contracted rematch with Wlad. Especially since he did that after saying "He is scared, he will never take the rematch". Seems like only one person was scared. Also Fury took PEDs around that time. Lacking confidence....
