When moving up in weight, normally, fighters opt to take on a lesser-known name. The men are bigger, the punchers they throw come out with a bit more pop, and their chins are usually a lot more durable. There's a lot to get accustomed to. Devin Haney, however, isn't a fan of taking warm-up fights.

No he is not , your just saying that so when he defeats Regis , he can say he was the best at two weight classes. Very disingenuous.

Prograis is a top guy at 140 but he is not the best. If Regis didn't look like crap in his las fight Haney and team would had never fought him. They might consider him easier than Shakur.

Is Devin Haney getting 25 percent for Regis WBC Title?

That's what Devin offer Shakur for his titles.
            Straight out duck.

Regis Prograis was one of the most overrated fighters on these boards prior to the Zorilla fight, but its a mystery why. He has shown plenty of flaws prior to that. Too many for anybody to think he's any kind of apex predator at 140lbs. Prograis gets washed by any of the top JWW contenders (Haney, Matias, Teofimo, Catterall, maybe even Ryan Garcia). Prograis isn't as bad as he looked against Zorilla, but neither is he any kind of world beater to be feared by any other contender.

Teofimo Lopez is objectively the #1 fighter at 140. He’s the man who beat the man.
