Jermell Charlo already proved how great he was. When you win every world title in any division, but especially at 154 pounds, there's little left that you need to prove. He barked at his opponents and gave fans and media members who didn't believe in him the proverbial middle finger. Yet, even with everything he accomplished, Charlo knew that a win over Canelo Alvarez would quiet every dubious voice that's been surrounding his career.

Nah Bro, he did not! It was embarrassing, but not as bad as you getting slapped by Caleb Plant!

Well it's his brother so will always have his back and try big him up but we all know it's pure cap, he fought like a scared cub not a lion.

If fighting like a champion meant fighting like a b*tch then yeah, he’s undisputed!!

          He didn't, that's the problem

Its ok getting outclassed, it happens, like Canelo himself got outclassed by Bivol

But can Charlo sincerely look back on Saturday and think he left it all in the ring trying to win? I don't think so, unless he's lying to himself

Yes, he fought like a protected and privileged PBC champion.

BS! If this is your definition of a champ, then brother you got it all wrong! The dude was running scared. He didn’t show nothing to be consider a champ! He will never be a superstar on another PPV, unless he has a great elite partner.

Too right mate. All this proves is that both brothers are immensely talented but ultimately lack heart and the mental fortitude to compete at the highest level of the sport
