I dont see why people have a problem with this fight. Hopkins is clearly not shot, but is way past his best. If u dont compare him to his prime, he is still a good fighter. His destruction of Pavlik proves that.

Same for Jones. Although he hasnt fought and beaten anyone of note, he still has somthing left compared to the average fighter.

I think Hopkins wins by close decision but i hope Roy can pull it off using his handspeed. If Roy can get of first and keep up the workrate a bit he might have a chance. I look forward to Hopkins tune up to see if it looks like the one year inactivity has affected him.

I dont really care for it as I dont see any place for a seniors tour in boxing,but each to their own.

Hopkins is what? 57? He shouldn't be fighting at all. Maybe he looked good against Pavlik 5 years ago, but who knows how he'd look today.
