What is the magic number? I want everyone to keep in mind that Floyd just did a mil with JMM who never has big numbers. Some say that he also did huge numbers in Theaters. Add that to the fact that he did this the same night of a UFC card. Add that to the fact that everyone in the media & fans downplayed this fight and called it a joke fight while everyone is calling Pac-Cotto a superfight. Some even told people dont buy Floyd-JMM while everyone is boosting the Pac-Cotto fight up. Everyone from Roach, Arum, and other insiders said that Floyd was a fool for taking the JMM because it will do very low numbers and that will hurt his negotiations with Pac. Everyone in the media and on here said the fight would bomb and they clowned his Money Mayweather named and said that he wasnt half as big as he thinks he is.
To me, Pac-Cotto has to do major major major numbers for Pac to get more money than Floyd when you take all that into consideration. Thats not even including the fact that Floyd did way more with Oscar than Pac did, he did a good amount more with Hatton than Pac did, he did more in one fight with JMM than Pac did but Ill give Pac a little of the beneift of doubt on the last one.
