Canelo’s stamina finally wasnt an issue

No one has mentioned that Canelo didnt fade at all. He was cutting the ring, stalking and throwing power shots all night and didnt sit down between rounds. That was very impressive to me. I guess 3 months un altitude training did wonders for him

If you are fighting a scared guy, who is doing nothing, stamina shouldn`t be an issue.

It's because Charlo offered no resistance.. Dude was scared of Canelo.. When you're easily able to back your opponent up like that with no threat, no resistance you won't get tired lol..

That was a pathetic performance by Charlo

Exactly when you're able to walk thru your opponent with nothing to worry about and basically control the tempo you're not going to get tired.

I was expecting Charlo to up his tempo in the later rounds but he never did and was just scared of Canelo.. Canelo beat him mentally and physically

No fighter has stamina issues when they can fight at their own leisurely pace throughout the fight with no resistance, they could do 20 rounds like that.

you will see his stamina issues if he fights someone like Bivol again when he can't dictate the pace

Hahaha he was relaxed the entire fight

he wasn’t defending 10 punch combos from a lhw. That’s pushing him back every time he’s trying to breathe

charlo was fighting Chill Dawg rules

Charlo didn’t make him fight at any sort of pace. Didn’t push him backwards either. Canelo was in full control of both the geometry and geography of the fight.

Usyk is a heavyweight who, has during big fights thrown almost double the punches that 'Alvarez did last night'.

Even Anthony Joshua vs Usyk was close to on average throwing approximately 200 punches more than Alvarez.

Last night vs Charlo, that was not really a intense fight 'And Alvarez was dictating the pace, when he can do that? His endurance never really something being pressured'.

But I will say this? Alvarez did look to be in better condition than his last fight vs Ryder, and even if it was not a super intense fight 'Alvarez clearly managed his pace much better, if he needed to increase the intensity 'I think Alvarez could have more' etc.

Note: Alvarez's endurance is not super bad 'It is satisfactory', it is just not elite 'Alvarez has nowhere near the level of endurance of Calzaghe, Froch and many other great middle to Super Middle Weight fighters'.

Even fighters like Hopkins for close to 90% of his career had superior endurance to Alvarez etc.

Charlo lived up to people's expectations and his own's. He and his twin just seem to be okay with getting a fat paycheck. You can see his brother just enjoying the fight, no concern at all his twin is getting outclassed. They are huge fans of the Mexican superstar, face of boxing.
