I bet if Crawford went up to 168 the same thing will happen to him. The physicality was too much that is why Charlo was reluctant to throw more in fear in being countered by something bad. No one should move up and fight Canelo as their first fight. That is Bud, Spence, Jermall or anyone else.

This fight went according to plan ....and I didn't want it to go any other way. As a result, the boxing scene looks very promising.

Charlo got beat soundly, but he didn't get destroyed. This makes it possible to have potentially nice matchups down the road. Crawford VS Spence, Crawford VS Charlo, Charlo VS Tsyzu, and Canelo VS Benavidez can all be made over the next few months.....This should make boxing fans very happy.

Had Charlo been destroyed or should Canelo have been upset, it would have been bad for boxing in my honest opinion. Everything would have been thrown out of wack.

That's an honest take on the way it played out and the way it left the players. I believe Canelo was counting on the Lion, angry guy to walk into something but he didn't, because Charlo smarter than people think. Charlo knew he was there to be slaughtered and Derrick James wasn't having it. Everyone made money. If a good fight is what people want it starts with a fighter with a chance....Andrade or Benavidez at 168 and at 154 it's Tsysu, Crawford or Spence. Everyone else is just a cut above a youtube exhibition with a guaranteed outcome.
