I agree...Cotto has got to resent being overlooked like this. It may just be the fuel he needs to have the eye of the tiger come fight night. Or... It may make him feel dejected and like he cannot win... We'll see

I don't understand why people are saying that Cotto is being overlooked just because others have Pacquiao winning the fight. That doesn't mean that Cotto is trash and won't stand a chance. From what I can see, most really believe it's 50/50.

Part of me agrees with the Joe Namath arguement, if they need that as extra motivation they are already in trouble.

If he is one of those cats that is motivated by people saying he is no good this would work well though.

..when I am not training I would STAY ON THESE BOXING WEBSITES AND BLOGS! I would find, EVERY STORY about this fight how I have will get knocked out by Manny and print them up and post them everywhere in my gym and in my house! I would use all these stories to fuel me to go harder than I ever have, to be prepared to not only win, but to win in Knockout fashion!!!

Although I picked Manny to win, I personally think that its foolish to count Miguel out of this fight. I have not counted him out and in this sport..ANYTHING can happen. I feel that by reading articles on these websites and blogs...he seems to be getting counted out of the fight. Something tells me that, Team Manny may be doing just that, lets hope Manny comes prepared because this will be his stiffest test (to date) in Miguel Cotto.....FACT.
