He doesn't need to stop him but he didnt even really beat him up. He dominated but Charlo was never in real trouble of getting stopped or towel thrown in. Benavidez will take Canelos power no problem and if he does Canelo is in serious trouble.

Alvarez has just won a fight in fairly dominant fashion, against a elite level fighter 'And Champion'.

Alvarez is still one of the best fighters in the World pound for pound, skill for skill.

I don't think people can criticize Alvarez that much, he is a Champion who has consistently fought at a level.

Alvarez may be in the latter part of his career, but he is still fighting at a World & Elite level etc.

You are too emotional when it is about Canelo.

Was Canelo 175 champ before he even fought Bivol? he was.

How many fights at 160 or 168 did Charlo have before fighting Canelo? Zero.

Ezzard Charles was heavyweight champion when Rocky Marciano beat him. That doesn’t change the fact that Ezzard was always seen as a blown up light heavyweight.

That’s a very fair and objective comment on your part. I didn’t think you were capable of it as you’re usually pushing a very pro-Anthony Joshua narrative.

Another outcome of...Promoters targeting casuals over fans and THEY DONT CARE!! Many who celebrated the win won't even consider the fact or care to understand it
