Congratulations to Canelo, a great win over an excellent fighter.

At super middleweight, Canelo is at his best weight, more comfortable and power and strength advantage over Charlo. Canelo has underrated handspeed and skill.

Charlo was hurt, but credit to him, he comfortably went the distance after that knockdown. Canelo just was well ahead with effective punches and controlled the fight from the 2nd round to the 12th and final round.

Canelo and Benavidez, would love to see, I think Canelo wins that. Morrell is more dangerous an opponent.

this angered me because charlo was landing some good left hooks and sometimes the jab at will but he was scared of getting caught the entire fight. he could have won this fight if he decided to take more chances but it is what it is, a lot of people who have lost before they entered the ring against canelo.

Charlo will get into the hall of fame faster than Beterbiev, that’s for sure. He at least accomplished something that Beterbiev is too cowardly to do, unify a division. He at least went up in weight, and dared to be great, something Beterbiev won’t do. He still can fight the #2 in his division and re attempt to unify the division, something Beterbiev won’t do.

the only sh.itty ass joke fight is Beterbiev and Smith.

TBH Canelo has been fighting at 147 a lot of fights early in his career then was AT 154 and 160 for a while, it's not like Canelo was some natural 168 Giant like Benavidez or Morell jr so I'm not buying the Canelo was too Big that much. He sure is more used to 168 than Mell but not looking like a truly bigger guy.

People bring the Charlo "too small" excuse but what mainly had him losing was the lack of speed, I Always knew Nelo was too sharp and quick wich is a bad look for Mell, if you are smaller you should be quicker, otherwise your effed UP.

Canelo fans are hilarious. That was a terribly boring fight, Charlo got hurt once. Canelo didn't throw combos, and he was fighting a punching bag.

Canelo gets beat by Benavidez, probably Andrade, Morrell. Biev knocks him out. Bud could well outbox him. Bivol beats him up if they fight again. Canelo will look good against anyone way over the hill, and anyone not named Bud who comes up in weight.

To be honest canelo was a teenager when he was fighting at ww, he was not mature just yet, and still he had a lot of fights around 149. He was not a man just a kid.
