            This clown

"I feel like it wasn't me in there," Charlo said. "I don't make excuses. You win some, you lose some. I'm undisputed in my weight; I was daring to be great. I'm proud of myself. He didn't knock me out, he knocked all the other guys out."

            He didn't fight to win.
He already won when Nelo agreed to fight him.
Talented enough to avoid getting KTFO

That's because jermell is durable and was trying to survive instead of win.

canelo won every round. when picking who he beats or doesnt beat then that is what matters.

I rewatched some of the Ryder fight to make my prediction for tonights fight and I was surprised, I remembered it as Canelo not looking that great... but upon rewatching it he was battering Ryder, he did everything but get the stoppage.

Canelo was just at a point tonight where Jermell came in to survive not to win and to protect his head at all costs. The body shots he certainly didnt like but he was able to eat them if he had to so that is what he did.

Any criticism of Canelo I think is that hes lost some of his old skill from his earlier fights, hes favored his new pressure style but if he really wanted a KO here he would need to throw more than one punch at a time, set up combinations or set up counters. He didnt make any adjustments this fight just did the same thing for 12 rounds and get that UD.

If you look at Canelo vs Saunders for example he made adjustments mid fight, he saw saunders ducking down low by bending forward and he started shooting uppercuts and thats how he broke his eye socket. Weird thing is I think now that canelo has slipped technically more so than physically.

I bet the same people that agree with the thread starter think Marquez is Floyds best performance and would argue its true.
