Ali slowed down after the Thrilla in Manila fight and didn't box as much but when he trained hard even in his late 30s, he still used his legs. Look at the second Ali vs Spinks fight in 1978 if you think Ali lost his legs. He was dancing from round 1-15. Oh by the way that's when Ali became three time heavyweight champion. Usyk didn't have the same number of fights that Ali had. So of course Usyk was fresher as he got older. Usyk definitely didn't move around the ring the way Ali did.

The old timers fought wayyy more fights than the boxers do today. Old timers fought 100-150 fights whereas today's fighters average about 25-40 fights. It isn't because of modern training methods, its because fighters today are fresher because they don't fight as much. They get paid a lot more so they don't have to fight as much.

Do you research and educate yourself before making incorrect statements about today's boxers being better and stronger than those of yesterday. Mayweather would have been beaten by Sugar Ray Leonard. Zhang would have lost to Bowe, Holyfield, Ali, Holmes, Lewis and a prime Tyson.
