I can see Kessler pulling out if he loses, then going into hibernation for a few years.

Froch, Abraham, and Dirrell will go to the end regarless IMO. Especially Froch, dude don't give a ***.
Why do you think that of Kessler and not any of the others?

      Bute, obviously.

      Then Bika and Andrade.

Green does not deserve to be in there.

Lucian Bute is the obvious choice, he's the best fighter on that list.

Why the hell is Allan Green getting so many votes? Green hasn't done jack **** since he got destroyed by Miranda, he's been padding his record with clubfighters and tomato cans.

            Fair enough.

Because Kessler went into hibernation after losing to Calzaghe. Whereas Taylor, the only other one with a loss, immediately rematched his first defeat then continued to face tough competition. Kessler hasn't fought one meaningful fight since losing to Calzaghe. It's why he's been considered one of the biggest wastes of talent in the past couple years. Don't get me wrong, I have high hopes for Kessler in this tournament, I just find it hard to believe he'll take on another tough fight if he loses again.

I mean, what would we think of Kessler if he lost 2 fights in a row at this stage? We'd look at his resume and go "hmmm, very good fighter, but in his 3 biggest fights, he lost". Would his management, who've been very careful since the loss, really let that happen to him?

Why Bute and Bika aren't in above Ward and Drinnel already is beyond me.

But that's just plain wrong. Kessler had surgery on his hand following Calzaghe. Then there was negotiations with Miranda which fell through because Pantera wanted a rematch with Abraham. Instead Kessler fought for the vacant WBA belt against the undefeated Sartison.

Following that win all the major players was approached with offers. Kessler didn't have a rematch clause with Calzaghe like Taylor had with Pavlik. Hopkins flat out turned Kessler's 4 million USD offer down etc.

Point is that Kessler's 'hibernation' was not something he chose but something caused by incidents beyond his control. It wasn't lack of trying.

So now you are enlightened and can move on.

I think Green will lose to a prospect at some point and will never go anywhere.
I think he's showed himself to be somewhat of a flake. Bute would have to be the next one in if possible. To the individual who said Paul Williams.. you're a joke. Edit: of course if Andrade handles Bute, Bute would no longer be the obvious choice.
