Floyds hand speed was there his reflexes were there. There is no doubt that it doesnt seem like he lost a step. But, was he really that good or was JMM just that bad on fight night. He looked very slow wasnt able to pull the triger afew times. I know its bc of the weight gain but he just looked bad. So is that why floyd looked so good? Or would he have done that to any fighter today?

Floyd was sharp. He held the number two boxer in the world to like 12 percent of his punches. Though Floyd should have knocked him out...

If floyd fought a top 5 welterweight that night,he wouldn't have won that easily!!Mosley,Clottey & Berto are fast,so they wouldn't have been dusted like that!!Cotto is a tad slower than them all,but has incredible timing against the best fighters at welterweight!!Big strong fighters would make for a competitive fight, that could go either way!!

Listen from the very start (Although I changed my mind half way threw, due to the thought of Mayweather being rusty) I said that Mayweather is a bad style match up for JMM. I said Marquez wouldn't be able to counter punch against Mayweather, distance against Mayweather is a death wish. Marquez wasn't gonna find any success in doing that. Ofcourse Marquez had no business enterting the ring at 148, I would have came into the ring weighing 142, so that his speed would have been more effective. Marquez really fucked up in doing that.

Style wise, Clottey is a VERY easy opponent for Mayweather.

It looked like that because JMM is a career FW and Floyd is a WW/Jr MW.

            He could barely make 47'.

Size was everything in this fight.

              You said career?

Mayweather has had a total of 31 fights from 130/135. He spent most of his career at 130.

yea because he CLEARLY used that HUGE size difference that he had against JMM.....

For the last time, AT ANY WEIGHT, we get the SAME outcome. let it go.

Floyd had a lot to do with Marquez not throwing so much.

Floyd has those "flinch" type reflexes. When you are across the ring from Floyd, you simply feel that what you throw at him, will either be blocked, slipped, or countered. It will slow down ANYONES pace.

We will respectfully never agree here, when Clottey decides to fire punches, they are very fast!!They both don't throw that much, but I don't see floyd teaing of on Clottey's high guard & breaking through!!I see an ugly drawn out fight with floyd winning probably because it makes more sence money wise for boxing, but neither landing much with Clottey fighting ugly!!
