Comments Thread For: De La Hoya Feels William Zepeda vs. Gervonta Davis Will Be a Great Fight Down The Line

When the level of competition rises, William Zepeda rises with it. Mercito Gesta was expected to push the 27-year-old. Winning was always going to be a difficult task but the long faded contender built his career on providing a stiff test to some of the division's best. However, he had absolutely nothing for Zepeda.

The swarming, high volume punching, take one to give 3 style will mean a fighter will start to decline at 30-31 years old unless he starts to get roided up. The time is now for Zepeda. Enough of this down the line nonsense.

I actually think GBP should try to make Zepeda-Stevenson. I think it could be a good style matchup for Zepeda.

Oscar, what are you doing? You didn't want him to fight Shakur. Now you don't want him to fight Tank. Are you going to let Schofield fight him? Ryan Garcia? He's already at the top! What's the plan???

Does Oscar think he's going to get better???? This is insanity. He might really have a shot here against Tank and a chance at superstardom.

Just occurred to me that the bs wba belt tank has should have mandatory challengers? I thought that was their justification of the super champ is the regular would handle the challenges with the right to challenge the super champ after a few defences. Tank seems to have no interest in challenging so wtf? This is some high level bs if there ever was any. Said they were getting rid of those belts, but that only seemed to happen in convenient divisions/promotions.
