They are weight classes for a reason. Even if Crawford can fight at 168 he has not been even at 154.

I ran into Crawford earlier this month at a fight and though he is not as small as people suggest he is in no way the same "size" as Canelo. Size being more than just height.

Crawford is what I would consider one of the bigger welterweight all around and maybe an average junior middle weight at this point. He is really well proportioned and lean.

Canelo is a little shorter but he is just much more solid and heavy than Crawford and it is very noticeable when comparing them up close. Canelo has easily got at least 15 lbs of solid muscle on Crawford. Trust me Crawford is not reaching that level of mass without a few years of training for it if his body even allows itself to carry that much.

When Crawford was 25 he was in the process of moving up from 135 to 140.

When Canelo was 25 he was fighting at 155-160 because he couldn't make 154 anymore.

Canelo has been fighting at 147 since his debut as a teenager. He's the MUCH bigger man.

First of all you don't post pictures of two people in different places to compare body sizes. You compare them with their shirt off standing next to each other. Yes canelo is bigger. They're about the same height but canelo is much wider. Wider shoulder, wider thicker back, bigger chest and arms, shoulders. Also canelo's legs are much much thicker and bigger. Canelo holds about 20-30 lbs more muscle than bud. Bud has a reach advantage that's all. Canelo was fighting 147 lbs when he turned pro at 15 lmao. 3rd, you are posting pics with bud at 147 and canelo at 154 lmao. Of course they're going to be similar looking 1 weight class apart.
