I was never real familiar with Nacho until the JMM/Mayweather fight. And I have to say I was totally unimpressed. From the opening bell it was clear he had no game plan and it showed that outside of a cutman Juan's corner was useless. I've seen much lesser fighters give Mayweather a better fight. As a matter of fact I recall him getting frustrated with Marquez as if he wasnt also doing an embarrassing job. If I were Marquez I would have fired his ass at the post fight press conference. He could have hired me to say "fight harder" and "throw punches" as if it were some kind of genius revelation. I will have to go back and key in on JMM's corner for other big fights and maybe Ill find Nacho's true value. As of right now I just think Marquez could save a few million dollars throughout his career. I would do that for half the money.LOL. I sincerely hope Beristan's ***els were lost in translation. Does anybody else see it that way? If not please enlighten me. Please dont give that he's great because he's been around forever speech. Sometimes even trainers need to hang it up.
Itryin not to blame Nacho. Who doesnt want a free check?

First off, it was Marquez who wanted Mayweather, not Nacho. Nacho isn't a match maker, he's just the trainer.
What game plan should he have offered Marquez, who was much smaller and much slower than the best fighter in the world? Anything he told Marquez in the corner Marquez was unable to do in the ring. Is that Nacho's fault? No, that's being out classed by mayweather. -
I agree he was out classed but Mayweather out classes everybody, not completely embarrass. The trainers job is to make adjustments and he didnt even try. So it was like a free check. When I think about it he did the same against Pac. Since Nacho didnt want PBF he doesnt have to earn his money? When all else fails tell him to use some elbows. Make it rough. Insanity is repeating the same process and expecting a different result.First off, it was Marquez who wanted Mayweather, not Nacho. Nacho isn't a match maker, he's just the trainer.
