After the fight he said he would give him a rematch at 154 but now he's saying only at 147. Is that a but messed up? Only because Spence bent over backwards to give Bud this opportunity.

He was a bigger draw ppv wise while also holding 3 of the 4 belts. He went against his advisors and PBC in order to make the fight and gave Crawford everything he wanted. This fight essentially elevated Crawford to upper echelon of boxing with his all time great performance that night while embarrassing Spence

I dont get why he wont rematch at 154. Thoughts?

Who cares? He dominated the fight. Spence isn't good enough to beat Crawford

The contract says the winner picks the weight for the rematch and Bud won.

      Errol has no say.

        "bent over backwards"

Yeah, was so big of Spence to finally give us the fight he'd been running from for four ****ing years. Props for going against his advisors though, who clearly knew he would get dominated and stopped.

Does anyone want to see the rematch? I travelled over from the UK for the first fight but I have no interest in the rematch, it’s a foregone conclusion in my opinion.

even at 154, he still beat spence so not sure why he's playing around saying it has to be at 147.

Spence Junior has a lot to gain, if the rematch is at 147 pounds.

Maybe the only way Spence Junior can improve at 147 pounds, is to stay close to fighting weight all year round 'Fighters with good longevity and conditioning employed this type of training philosophy such as Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather Junior and Carl Froch'.

But it has been awhile now since the first fight, and what has Spence Junior being doing? Has he been in training?

Both Crawford & Spence Junior were weight drained for the first fight, it was just that Crawford made the weight better 'Crawford is a well know big weight drainer'.

Note: The rematch at 147 pounds, has a lot of historical significance 'Were as if the fight was to happen at 154 pounds, that fight would mostly just be personal get back for Errol Spence Junior, because it would be a non-title fight' etc.

Because casuals and the overall general public don't want to see a rematch right now.

It be best for Spence to take a long break and rebuild at 154 and then rematch Crawford after he gets a couple of wins.
