Zhang deserves massive credit for stopping Joyce twice but if his camp is willing to admit they had spies in Joyce's camp for the rematch, it makes one wonder what else they did in preparation for the rematch that they're not willing to disclose.
Was there drug testing for this fight? What other advantages did Zhang have going in? This doesn't reflect well on Zhang at all.
In all honesty, I don't think it would've mattered regarding the spies given Joyce looked slower than usual and was incredibly predictable in his failed adjustments after the first fight. However, there should always be an even playing field and admitting to having spies in Joyce's camp is a surprised to say the least. I guess Team Zhang has no shame. Unfortunately for them, by making such an admission they are only reinforcing the impression that the Chinese, like their buddies the Russians, have a propensity to cheat in sport.

Maybe I'm jaded, but I have never thought it was fair for fighters to have
'spies' in their opponent's training facility. You can either beat your opponent
with your skills, or you lose. Whatever happened to just watching films of your
opponent? And why was trainer Ismael Salas not managing the training facility
any better than that?

Zhang should really take a step back and realize who’s in his corner and just how good they really are
