I would like to see Charlo come in at 165 lbs. Gaining 10 lbs for this fight doesn't put him at a significant disadvantage because it isn't like Canelo is a big mover around the ring. His feet is like molasses and he doesn't well with fighters that come to him. If Charlo is 165 lbs then he should be able to still move and box Canelo from the outside. I agree with Derrick James.

Yeah I agree 165 would be good, he must spa around this weight in his training camps, there is a lot of uncertainty in his camp regarding the weight, canelo will feed of this, I expect a very brave 100% committed performance from Charlo, I think his corner wiil pull him out of the fight after round 10

163 sounds good. But if he can come in at 160 that would be solid imo. He's never fought above 154 pounds. This is new territory for him regardless of whether or not he's physically bigger than Canelo. Canelo is acclimated to the fight weight of 168 pounds. I would hope Charlo stays as close to a comfortable weight at possible.

$85 for a fight that will obviously end in a close Canelo decision is not a good deal.

Lol you think the judges will score against the African American lol haven't you been paying attention. Judges are not going against any AA fighter right now.

Think McCaskill v Ryan mot recently.

Canelo will have to stop charlo to win on a pbc show with pbc judges and I don't see that happening.

I agree if hes over the middleweight limit and he don't feel like he should go to the full 168lb limit then that's fine. 162-163lbs would be a good weight for him in there in terms of still being able to have his mobility instead of packing on 5-6lbs of extra muscle he doesn't need which will just slow him down more. Damn remember when pacquiao fought margarito for the vacant WBC 154lb title he was under the welterweight limit never mind the junior middleweight one lmao

Plug your brain in. Canelo is a massive cash cow. Al doesn't give a flying fck about the Charlos. The Charlos don't fill seats like Tank. Al won't screw Canelo in favor of Jermell. That's never happening. Al is a Harvard MBA for a reason. He's shady, not dumb. Canelo by close decision.
