Comments Thread For: Canelo-Charlo Provides The Atmosphere Only Big Fights Can Produce

by Corey Erdman - Every generation of boxing fans has its one big star, its fighter whose events are signpost moments in their lives, the way Super Bowls are for football fans. You remember where you were when The Big Game is happening if you're an NFL fan, or even a fan of gluttony and parties, and likewise, if you like fighting, you remember the nights you spent watching the mega fights.

This is not a big fight. This is yet another Canelo joke fight with little to no interest in it whatsoever.

This article gets a little carried away.

"For many years, Canelo was the sole proprietor of boxing’s biggest fight of the year, save for some gimmicky fights that appeared on the calendar here and there."

For example, Canelo's massive fight against Callum Smith in 2020, easily eclipsing the likes of Fury-Wilder II or Loma-Lopez.

Great article! Can't wait for the fight although it would have been more competitive at a lighter weight but canelo is the big money man that calls the shots

First of all you should never think like that. Secondly skills pays the bills. If you think that Charlo is out his league then you don't know sht about boxing. Win, lose or draw its going to be a nice war
