Another case of someone talking **** about a fighter because of ignorance. Happens a lot here.

Peek A Boo, Kessler will be in the USA to fight Ward very soon. Since none of your USA boxers would give him a chance to prove himself, it's taken this long to get over there. Another reason is that, until recently, Kessler was locked into a contract with an over-protective promoter who wasn't prepared to set up the kind of fights he needs, he had him fighting lame mandatories instead. For this reason, Kessler and his promoter just went through a load of legal crap, but Kessler in the end managed to break free of Palle's clutches. Since breaking free, he has a fight coming up in the USA. Funny that, isn't it?

It's not that Kessler didn't want to fight in the USA against the best names out there. You need to consider the politics involved as to why it hasn't happened until now.
