Ward has the boxing ability to win. He's smart and has good anticipation. Kessler is going to have a hard time trying to pin him down or land anything strong. Ward took shots from Miranda and wasn't fazed so I think that gives him confidence against a puncher like Kessler.

There's a world of difference in the crude, cumbersome, wide and painfully slow hooks from Miranda to the crisp straight punching of Mikkel Kessler.

Yeah, maybe. Ward might want to make a statement and try to trade, but doing that against Kessler is much harder than it sounds. Kessler is very good boxer as well,so if Ward tries to fight out of character,I can see Kessler boxing his ears off,and if that happens then maybe the tko will happen. My guess though,is a wide UD. By the same token,I dont want to write Ward off completely as he might have the ability to step up to the next level. We dont know that yet,but we will see if he has.

I cant wait for this tournament to start, It may even throw up a few surprises!

As a Kessler fan, I'm not getting ahead of myself on this one. Kessler can absolutely win this, but I don't think it'll be easy.

Ward isn't proven but is very, very skilled and his style may very well pose a problem to Kessler.
