Marquez may have won some rounds and actually rock Mayweather a couple of times but Mayweather would still have won in dominant fashion because Marquez is a counterpuncher 1st and foremost and against Floyd he was forced to be offensive which he is not comfortable with so floyd wins in dominant fashion no matter what weightclass it is.

Difference being Marquez would actually have a puncher's chance as opposed to none at all though.

If you've have happened to watch Mayweather at 130 then you can come to this conclusion, wow. He displayed incredible speed, the same defense he's know for plus an added bonus, he threw more combination's and displayed greater power. Do I think it would've been the same dominant performance, YES I do. The only disadvantage Floyd would have would be his brittle hands.

I think Floyd would've won but the fight would've been a lot closer.

Mayweather was even better at 130, MUCH faster...I'd be less competitive. This is no different from when people said, "What if Mayweather had faught Hatton at 140?", Mayweather would have destroyed Hatton even worse. Ofcourse, Marquez would have been alot better but so would Mayweather. My thing was, I didn't think Marquez would be ****** enough to enter the ring at 148 and I didn't expect Mayweather to look that good after a 2 year layoff.

He does better, I'm just not sure if he can win or not still. Mayweather was a beast at 130 and Marquez's prime years were at 126.
