    Sounds like a good domestic fight. So a British title fight has to take place in the UK? I didn’t know that but it does make sense.

      Of course it make's sence Joe, this is just ole Fi$h £ye's having a moan. It's all his fault for making the fight for this circus show. Wardley/Adelaye should have been made for Wembley arena where with the right undercard would surely have sold out. I gotta feel sorry for Fabio here as a win would of added a valueble notch on the prestigious Lonsdale belt!.....

        All the years I have watched HW boxing I wasn’t aware of this 3 defence rule of the British title. What exactly is it? I always thought the Lonsdale belt was another name for the British title. So a fighter has to defend the British title successfully 3 times to get the Lonsdale belt? Am i understanding that correctly? I always considered the British & European titles as stepping stone belts similar to the NABO, NABF & USBA belts. Had no idea defending it 3 times meant anything.
