One has to wonder why Hearn has gone out of his way to promote a drug cheat in Benn. One also has to wonder why so many Matchroom fighters turn up dirty.

Isn't is strange that Hearn has done the total opposite with Alicia Baumgardner, another Matchroom cheat who Hearn knows is leaving him as soon as her contract runs out?

Eddie, Conor and DAZN can carry on with their sleazy sideshow for all I care. I checked out from their circus ages ago.

But it should be noted that Benn’s opponent hasn’t been picked because he’s “hard hitting.” He’s never fought outside Mexico. Wanna guess why he’s getting his break now? Do the letters KTFO speak clearly enough?

So: Hearn runs a drug cheat, stinks up boxing, sidesteps the proper drug testing authority, and for his first fight back feeds him a journeyman. Stay classy, Eddie.

It's disgraceful and another stain on boxing's already poor reputation. Hearn is a pure scumbag who has supported Benn in his manoeuvrings to avoid sanction. Imo Benn will never be redeemed without a hearing where the evidence is presented however, just give it time and, just like with Fury, his cheating will just be overlooked.
